5/23/2013 Severe Weather Spotter Training in Demo Room of Waushara County Courthouse
   Severe Weather Spotter Training will be held this Thursday in the Demo Room of the Waushara County Courthouse. The training will begin at 6pm and last about 2 hours. There will be a live presentation by the National Weather Service. The training is open to anyone age 15 or older.
    
5/24/2013 Waupaca Walks For Children on June 15th
   Waupaca Walks For Children will be held at the 25th Annual Strawberry Fest on Saturday, June 15th at 9am. Cost is $15 per adult to walk. Children 18 years and under walk for free. The event will take place rain or shine. All proceeds will benefit Waupaca Child Abuse Prevention. Please pre-register by Friday, May 24th.

   The Iola Lions 3rd Annual Memorial Weekend Brat Fry will be held at Iola IGA on Saturday, May 25th from 10:30am to 2:30pm. Brats and burgers will be for sale. All proceeds to go the Iola-Scandinavia Chamber Fireworks. The Iola Lions will also be collecting used eyeglasses and hearing aids.

   On Saturday, May 25th from 12:30pm until finished, the Wild Rose Elementary School Cafeteria will be filled with antiques waiting to be appraised. The Friends of the Patterson Memorial Library will present What's It Worth, featuring author and antiques expert Mark F. Moran. Pre-registration is required.
